Macchinetta features fair trade 100% organic beans sourced from Colombia and Ethiopia and roasted locally in Melbourne. Our qualified baristas produce a quality of coffee that is of the highest standard and presentation. We encourage our baristas to practice their latte art skills and to release their 'inner Italian'.

Macchinetta also provides a great selection of pastries, muffins and sweet things baked onsite in our bakery kitchen. Fresh sandwiches and wraps to go are featured along with our fair trade and environmentally savvy partner Fiji Water.

Fair trade guarantees that third-world producers have received: a price for their goods that covers the cost of subsistence living; a fair trade premium that goes back to the producers' community, creating funds for educational and medical infrastructure; long-term contracts that allow producers' long-term planning and environmental production practices for the environment. fair trade organic ensures sustainable farming without the use of chemicals and synthetic fertilizers - our packaging and cups are 100 per cent recyclable. please use the bins provided and it will all be diverted from land fill to recycling plants.
